Building a Strong Respiratory Protection Program
A successful respiratory protection program is about much more than purchasing respirators. It combines hazard…
Over 15 years ago, I founded Breathesafe Canada after recognizing a troubling pattern in many of the workplace injuries I encountered. Too often, workers were being exposed to airborne contaminants—some with potentially serious consequences. What stood out to me was that many of these exposures could have been prevented. With the right respiratory protection and proper fit testing, these workers could have been better protected from the hazards they faced.
That realization became the foundation of Breathesafe Canada: helping ensure workers have the knowledge, protection, and proper fit they need to breathe safely on the job.

I have provided mobile respirator fit testing services, bringing professional fit testing directly to workplaces throughout the region. By coming to your site, I can make the process more convenient and cost-effective while minimizing disruption to your employees and operations.
My mobile testing unit is a fully self-contained, decommissioned ambulance that has been purposefully equipped for respirator fit testing. The unit has been inspected by WorkSafeBC and meets their applicable standards, providing a professional and controlled environment for on-site testing.
I have received specialized training from both BC Ambulance Service and 3M Canada, providing me with the knowledge and expertise required to conduct respirator fit testing in accordance with WorkSafeBC standards.
Workplace safety requirements and respiratory protection equipment continue to evolve, so staying current is an important part of the service I provide. I regularly review WorkSafeBC updates, maintain communication regarding changing requirements, and stay informed about new equipment, procedures, and safety standards to ensure my fit testing services remain current and compliant.
We provide comprehensive professional fit-testing services in our onsite mobile fit testing unit. It is conducted in compliance with occupational health and safety codes and in accordance with CSA standards.
